Research Policies
-
LOI's and Grant requests will be accepted from scientists, physicians, therapists, and medical and educational professionals who are employed by an accredited medical, research, in/out-patient therapeutic center and/or educational institution. We consider grants from the global community.
-
All LOI's and grants must be submitted in English. LOI's must not be longer than 4 single pages, single spaced, size 12 font. Please do not submit full grants unless asked to do so.
-
Full grants will be requested after review of the LOI, and you will be notified within 2 weeks after review of the LOI if you are being asked to submit a full grant. Grants should be submitted using the NIH Biosketch form, and standard grant application formats, including detailed tables, budget and references.
-
We encourage novel research hypotheses and ideas, with a focus on grants that lean towards early applicability of positive findings. Our goal is to make an immediate impact on the lives of children and families living with CDKL5 deficiency disorder.
-
As a reminder, CRC's research agenda is focused on clinical research. However, if you have any questions whether your proposal will be considered, please reach out to us directly.
-
Please submit LOI's by email to: Katheryn@CDKL5research.org, and please list "LOI" or "CDKL5 grant application" in the subject line.
